About Lucho

I am grateful to have been a resident and active member of this community for 35+ years. This island has borne much fruit for me. It has provided a safe place for my wife and I to raise our two sons, a tight-knit community like no other, long-lasting friendships, and a true natural paradise in our backyard. I want to continue to serve this community that has given me so much and help ensure that Key Biscayne remains a paradise for generations to come.

I am a former KBAC Director, Commissioner and coach. I helped negotiate access to, and lights for playing fields for our Village sports. I serve on the Board of Governors at the Key Biscayne Yacht Club, and am a lector at St Agnes Church. I have witnessed and experienced first-hand the growth and development of our Village over time. This history affords me an invaluable perspective on the issues we are facing today.

As a practicing Attorney for over 35 years, and a Civil Engineering graduate, problem- solving, negotiating and generating actionable results are my strengths. With a sound, thorough and logical approach to issues, I am committed to represent all residents with integrity and balance. To the best of my ability, I will remain open to other points of view as part of my own thorough evaluation of our residents’ wants and needs.

I hope you will appreciate the seriousness of my goals and that you will consider supporting my campaign. Together, we can work toward improving the quality of life for all.
